Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name, place, or other term entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. Bath County Recent Arrests does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy controls its processing.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact-form message, we retain the information needed to review and answer it. We do not share that message outside our organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine logs and measurement services may record technical details when a page loads.
- Your internet protocol address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on them.
- The referring site, when available.
- Date and time stamps.
Cookie Use
Cookies help measure site use and remember limited browser activity. You may block them through your browser, though some functions may then work differently.
How Data Helps Operate
Collected information may be used to keep pages available, improve speed, send a search to the selected partner, learn which material readers use, diagnose faults, and display advertising that may reflect interests.
Links Beyond This Site
Links may lead to Bath County offices, receiving-jail rosters, Kentucky corrections pages, government portals, or outside search services. Once you leave, the destination’s privacy terms apply.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to measure activity across sites and tailor ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not ours.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be available to:
- Search partners that process submitted queries.
- Services that measure site traffic and performance.
- Advertising networks.
- Law enforcement or another government body responding to a valid legal order.
Security Is Best Effort
We use ordinary safeguards suited to the information handled. No internet-connected service can promise perfect security, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may contact us to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, request correction of an error, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. Use the Contacts page to submit a request.
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this privacy notice as practices or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
