Use the sheriff for a sheriff arrest report or operational warrant question. Ask the jailer which contracted facility has custody and which office holds the booking record or photo. The circuit clerk handles district and circuit case numbers, dates, filings, and dispositions. Bath County may use Rowan County Detention Center, Montgomery County Regional Jail, or Three Forks Regional Jail, so confirm the destination before contacting a regional facility.
Where Each Request Belongs
The requested item determines the right source. The Bath County recent-arrests hub explains the full search and written-request path.
- For a sheriff incident or arrest report, call the Bath County Sheriff’s Office.
- For current custody, a booking sheet, or a booking image, call the Bath County Jailer first and then the confirmed receiving jail.
- For a same-day check, use the receiving facility’s live roster after the jailer identifies it; Bath publishes no verified 24-hour feed.
- For release or transfer alerts about one named person, use Kentucky VINE or VINELink and verify urgent details with the jail.
- For a warrant concern, contact legal counsel, the circuit clerk for the case docket, or the sheriff for operational questions.
- For a court date, case number, charge filing, or disposition, contact the Bath County Circuit Clerk or use CourtNet.
- For a sentenced state offender, use the Kentucky Department of Corrections KOOL search; use BOP or ICE only for the relevant federal or immigration custody system.
A written request under KRS 61.872 should give the full name, date of birth if known, approximate date and time, city, arresting agency, possible jail, case or booking number, and exact record sought. Ask for the legal basis of any denial and for the fee before copies are made. Bath County publishes no local online form or fee schedule.
